• Get any picture frame ready to hang: super glue a soda-can tab to the back of a picture frame.
• Mess-proof recipe cards: put your handwritten recipe cards under a glass pot lid to easily view the recipe while keeping it clean.
• What's a speedy way to fill holes in a wall? Dab a bit of white (non-gel) toothpaste in the hole. It will harden and dry.
• Fix a "sticky" can opener: run your can opener over a piece of wax paper as if you were opening a can.
• No more cloudy glasses: pour 2 tbs. of white vinegar into your dishwasher along with the dishwasher detergent.

May Day on Main

Park at City Creek and pick up a map at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art to kick off the evening's stroll, featuring floral-themed exhibits at the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll's Main Street locations and the Downtown Garden Stroll pop-up parks. Enjoy refreshments at participating galleries and visit all five artist-created temporary parks created for the Downtown Garden Stroll. In between sites, participants can enjoy a spectacle of inspiration as Main Street plays host to a plethora of creative activities including musical acts, plein air painting, demonstrations and surprise performances. Look to local businesses to get in on the fun with special deals for May Day on Main participants."
