May Day on Main

Visitsaltlake.com says, "Join the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (UMOCA), Downtown SLC Presents and the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll as Main Street comes alive for a night of flowers, art and community building. Park at City Creek and pick up a map at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art to kick off the evening's stroll, featuring floral-themed exhibits at the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll's Main Street locations and the Downtown Garden Stroll pop-up parks. Enjoy refreshments at participating galleries and visit all five artist-created temporary parks created for the Downtown Garden Stroll. In between sites, participants can enjoy a spectacle of inspiration as Main Street plays host to a plethora of creative activities including musical acts, plein air painting, demonstrations and surprise performances. Look to local businesses to get in on the fun with special deals for May Day on Main participants."
